Quadvelo Warranty

Our commitment to quality and your peace of mind

1. Coverage Period

Szivarvany N.V. (hereinafter referred to as Quadvelo), warrants all its new Quadvelo velomobiles against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery.

2. Damage Reporting

If you discover any defects, you must cease using the product immediately and notify Quadvelo within 14 days of discovering the defect. Failure to report defects in a timely manner may void the warranty.

3. Ownership & Transferability

The warranty begins upon delivery and applies only to the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable and does not extend to subsequent owners of the velomobile.

4. Claims Process

All warranty claims must be submitted directly to Quadvelo, regardless of where the velomobile was purchased. Please contact us with your order details and a description of the defect.

5. Mandatory Inspection

A required check-up must occur between weeks 3-5 after purchase (or after 50 km of use) at an authorized dealer. This inspection must be documented on the warranty card. Failure to complete this mandatory inspection may void the warranty.

6. Original Condition

The warranty requires the velomobile to be sold in its original, ready-to-ride condition. Any customer modifications or alterations made to the velomobile may void the warranty coverage.

7. Replacement Parts

Quadvelo may provide similar functional replacement parts when exact parts are unavailable. The decision of the technician on whether to repair or replace a component is binding.

8. Exclusions

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of tires, chains, brake pads, bearings, cogs and chainrings, nor scratches or damage to windows or epoxy parts. These components are subject to regular use and are expected to be maintained or replaced as part of normal ownership.

9. Labor & Additional Exclusions

Labor charges, paint, decals, damage caused by extreme riding conditions, and any modifications made to the velomobile are not covered by this warranty and may void the warranty entirely.

10. Case-by-Case Evaluation

Individual warranty cases may be evaluated separately to ensure fairness. Quadvelo reserves the right to make final decisions on warranty claims based on the specific circumstances of each case.
